For most of my life, I made decisions to keep the peace. I chose paths that pleased others, avoided rocking the boat, and allowed outside opinions to strongly influence my relationships, education, and career. I had always been curious, asked inquisitive questions, and loved working with horses, but as I grew and became more compliant to others directions (as opposed to listening intently to my own), those original dreams of what life 'could be' turned into background noise. I stopped asking questions, limited my curiosity, reduced my level of inquiry, and allowed self-doubt to creep in due to reduced clarity within my own personal sense of purpose, value, and worth.
Over time, my inner voice quieted, my vision blurred, and my internal navigational compass broke. I was so busy listening to others, that I forgot to leave room to hear myself.
It took navigating a long series of intense and stressful life transitions to realize something fundamental: I was ready to stop living for everyone else, and it was time to get curious again.
During my own personal journey, I actively chose to lean in and explore what I truly wanted. You see, when we get curious we have a deeper and more impactful level of learning (personally and professionally speaking). When we start asking questions out of inquiry and discernment, we start to actualize our own personal mission and vision to move forward with purpose.
And so through my own coaching journey, life transitions, returning to work with horses, and creating purposeful space to hear my voice... I began the journey of fixing my compass. I started my own comeback story...
An important piece to that story is starting Venture & Bloom, where I am excited to help others rediscover a sense of self, navigate challenges, and find more clarity through curiously constructive conversations.
A key factor to my journey, and one that I'd love to share with you, was that I didn't start walking a path of rigid discipline, it was creating space to reignite my naturally curious self...the self that had been told to be quiet, suppress emotion, and toe the line. After all, again the deepest learning happens when we are courageous enough to be curious about ourselves, and deeply curious about the world around us.
We get one life. Who are you living yours for?
Over the years, I’ve built a comprehensive, evidence-based toolkit across many facets of human development, including business, executive, leadership, team, workplace, life, EQ, job and career transition coaching, as well as trauma-informed modalities and ground-based Equine-Assisted Learning and psychotherapy.
While these credentials give me a proven foundation, I do not coach from a pre-packaged script.
...My goal is always to meet you exactly where you are, right now, in this moment...
As you navigate your path with curiosity, your goals might shift and change, and that is fully welcomed here. I adapt the framework so you have the space to remove the weeds of doubt, plant new authentic seeds of inquiry, explore what you authentically need in real time, and allow your true direction/sense-of-self to bloom.
Whether you are navigating a major career pivot, rethinking relationships, or breaking away from what society says you "should" do, you don't have to figure it out alone.
Through Venture & Bloom, I strive to create a warm, grounded space where you can:
Uncover Discernment: Learn to ask powerful questions and trust your own inner compass over external noise.
Dismantle Defensive Walls: Approach transitions with curiosity to shift from reactive stress into creative problem-solving.
Build Grounded Agency: Combine objective Emotional Intelligence (EQ) profiling with somatic awareness to step into authentic action.
When you give yourself permission to be curious, you stop surviving your life and start actively designing it.
